Ercilia Marques

I was born in Pernambuco, Brazil, which is a joy-filled land saturated with carnival colors, a place where sunlight and heat are predominant. All these characteristics filled me with marvelous inspirations.

I studied art and fashion in the city of Recife, and also in Italy, Portugal, and Malta. During these courses I had my first connection with photography. I had the opportunity to capture the magnificent Brazilian carnival through the lens of my camera. At that moment, I fell in love with this wonderful art form.

I had worked extensively in the area of fashion design, so I decided to unify that experience with my photographic talents by specializing as a fashion photographer. This work makes me feel truly free. It’s where I find the perfect creative rhythm. Through the lens of my camera, I seek to present the most beautiful side of people and fashion designs.

I love different cultures. I believe that fashion is a cultural, liberating, and innovating phenomenon which transmits the myth of social progress. Fashion makes people happier. For this reason I decided to study Sociology of Fashion in Rome. I wanted to better understand the issue and be able to improve my ability to express my art. Now I live in Italy. I have adopted Rome as the city of my heart. And so I transcend imaginary barriers, offering my services around the world, primarily in Europe and Brazil.
Today, appearance has more impact than inner beauty. So it is crucial for us to cultivate our personal image, as well as the image of our products and services.
